We had the great pleasure to visit the ETH main campus in Zurich for a day to attend this year’s MaP Graduate Symposium. It was an inspiring day with a lot of transdisciplinary exchange between the different ETH departments working on materials and processes. The programme was filled with talks and poster sessions, finishing with a networking apero.
Contributions from Bioanalytics group:
- Raphael Dezauzier, Poster
- Friederike Born, poster + image competition
- Sara Svanberg, Organizing committee

Friederikes contribution to the image competition. "A heart for the research on bacteria in microfluidic platforms. E. coli ATCC 25922 cells imaged in our novel microfluidic platform to visualize and quantify bacterial response to dynamic drug treatments after two hours of amoxicillin treatment. Constant in-line life/dead - staining of unlabelled E. coli ATCC 25922 cells (living cells appear green and dead cells red). 100x Oil objective, Scale bar 10 µm."
