In this new paper from Claudius Dietsche et al, they address the tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs) in the tumour microenvironment that are associated with poor prognosis. They have developed a microfluidic platform to quantitatively measure the secreted proteins of macrophages and macrophages polarized by medium from breast cancer cells, at a single cell level. Congratulations to all the authors! Read the full story in Lab on a chip external page here.
